69 YEARS OF PATHFINDER CLUB SERVICES IN THE CHURCH

For the first time in Tanzania, the 69th anniversary of the Pathfinder Club (PFC) is held at CCM’s Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza, Tanzania. The festivities coincided with the attendance of more than 3000 Pathfinders accompanied by more than 10000 people in the celebration of Service and Liberation since the Club was founded.
Mrs. Eza Kabuche, a leader of Pathfinders from the church of Kirumba said, “I will not forget this Sept 21st, for this great event because seeing these acts have made me proud to help young people serve the Lord.”
The festivities of 2019 coincide with the Pathfinders Parade performance demonstrations, services and assistance on education about the Pathfinder Club, songs and testimonies and conversion that have further defined the purpose of the Pathfinder’s services, in line with this year’s theme, “Created with Purpose”..
Introducing the Guest of Honor,, the President of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Northern Tanzania Union Conference Dr. Godwin Lekundayo said, “The arrival of Dr Rev. ANDRES J. PERALTA who is the Director of the Pathfinder’s Club Worldwide, is a great honor for the church in Tanzania. He could have chosen to be at another part of the world for this event, instead he chose Tanzania. He also thanked and congratulated Pr. Magulilo Mwakalonge, Director of the Department of Youth in East-Central African Division (ECD) for the success of the event.
In concluding these ceremonies, Pr. Mwakalonge baptized more than 100 Pathfinders who have given their lives to the Lord. Apart from all that, community services were rendered to those in need as a step to preaching the gospel.
This festival takes place every year, the third Sabbath of September and it is done worldwide. In the year 2020 the festivities will take place on the 19th of September, marking the 70th anniversary of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Pathfinder Club in the world.
Preparations have already begun, so don’t plan on missing out.

MIAKA 69 YA HUDUMA YA WATAFUTA NJIA KANISANI

Kwa mara ya kwanza nchini Tanzania, imefanyika sherehe ya kuadhimisha miaka 69 ya chama cha Watafuta njia (Pathfinder) katika uwanja wa CCM Kirumba, jijini Mwanza, Tanzania. Sherehe hizi zimefana kwa mahudhurio ya Wafatuta njia zaidi ya 3000 na washiriki zaidi ya 10000 kwa dhumuni la kusherehekea Utumishi na Ukombozi tangu chama hicho kuanzishwa.
Mrs. Eza Kabuche kiongozi wa Watafuta njia kutoka kanisa la kirumba ameeleza, “Sitaisahau tarehe ya Sept 21 kwa tukio hili kubwa maana kwa kuona matendo haya, imenifanya nijisikie fahari kuwasaidia vijana kutumika kwa ajili ya Bwana”.
Sherehe za mwaka 2019 zimeambatana na Gwaride la Watafuta njia, maonyesho ya shughuli na huduma, nyimbo na shuhuda za utumishi pamoja na uongofu ambazo zimezidi kufafanua lengo la huduma za chama cha Watafuta njia, ikiendana sambamba na mada ya mwaka huu inayosema, “Kuumbwa kwa kusudi”.
Akimtambulisha mgeni rasmi, kiongozi mkuu wa Jimbo kuu kanisa la Waadventista wa Sabato Kaskazini mwa Tanzania Mch. Dkt. Godwin Lekundayo amesema “Ujio wa Mkurugenzi wa huduma za Watafuta njia duniani, Dkt. Mch. ANDRES J. PERALTA ni heshima kubwa sana kwa kanisa la Tanzania. Maana angeweza kuchagua kuwa sehemu nyingineyo duniani”. Na pia alimshukuru na kumpongeza Mch. Magulilo Mwakalonge, ambaye ni mkurugenzi wa Idara ya vijana katika Divisheni ya Afrika Mashariki na kati (ECD) kwa kufanikisha mkutano huo.
Katika kukamilisha sherehe hizo, Mch. Mwakalonge alipokea na kubatiza zaidi ya Watafuta njia 100 ambao wamejitoa kwa ajili ya Bwana. Lakini pia, kumekuwepo na huduma mbalimbali ambazo zimetolewa ikiwa ni pamoja na kutolewa elimu kuhusu chama cha Watafuta njia, na huduma kwa jamii.
Ni sherehe ambazo hufanyika kila mwaka, sabato ya tatu ya mwezi wa tisa (Septemba), ulimwengu mzima. Na kwa mwaka 2020 zitafanyika tarehe 19 sept, ikiwa ni maadhimisho ya miaka 70 ya Chama cha Watafuta Njia katika kanisa la Waadventista wa Sabato ulimwenguni. Maandalizi tayari yamekwisha anza, na hivyo usipange kukosa.
